gajim doesn't tell its status to gnome

Description

In gnome 2.24 (ubuntu intrepid), on the very top right, there is the "user manager applet" (or something like that), where I can suspend to ram, disconnect, reboot… and change my global status (available, brb, etc…) when pidgin is launched. But not with gajim (tested with svn version too).

I was found the source: http://ignore-your.tv/fusa/

comment:3 Changed 8 years ago by asterix

I don't see anything about status, suspend to ram, disconnect, reboot in fusa. Only the ability to switch user.

In Ubuntu 8.10 (gnome), by default, if pidgin is launched : http://images.imagup.com/09/1233016265_Capture.png

if pidgin is not launched : http://images.imagup.com/09/1233016218_Capture-1.png

that doesn't look like the fusa applet at all. At lease fusa 2.24.0

It's "Outil de changement d'utilisateur" (in French), which I can translate by : "Tool for user switching" (or something like that).

so it's fusa, but look at what it looks like here. Which version do you have?

It's 2.24.0.

It's the default in Ubuntu 8.10. Just put a livecd of Ubuntu 8.10, you'll see it :)

Would this better be in a plugin or gajim "core"?

Thanks for the plugin. The plugin is now available for installation over FtpManagerPlugin?
