Yes I tested on windows, no bug. Can you update your python version? Maybe it's because of your old GTK version?

googling seems to tell that it's a python bug ... not sure ... Can you reproduce with js's windows insatller (http://varcache.org/~midar/gajim/)

tested the installer : I can't connect to the internal jabber server at work (externals are okay) with tarball of 29/07 it work, since 30/07 it does not anymore.

the installer version crash when I quit

since 3 tarball, the TB seems to be still here but it does not block the closing, lowering the priority
