GPG shows "session will NOT be logged" though it is logged

Reported by: js Owned by: bct
Priority: high Milestone: 0.12
Component: None Version: svn
Severity: major Keywords:
Cc: OS: All

Description

If you enable logging of encrypted sessions (for example because your logs are encrypted as well), Gajim shows in a GPG session in the tooltip of the encryption status icon that the session will NOT be logged and that it is NOT authenticated (though I gave that user trust).

Oh, and the encryption status icon is clickable?! That wasn't like that before. And the icon is a warning symbol instead of a lock. I guess that should show it's not authenticated? But it is, I verified the key and trusted it in GPG.

  • owner changed from asterix to bct

That error was introduced with some e2e changes. Bct when you finish e2e, can you also have a look at gpg?
