Windows: last release (13 December 2007) with new GTK segfaults and behaves weirdly.

This version is unusable on win (XP). clicking on taskbar to bring the roster/chat to the front behaves incorrectly and after several repeats the app segfaults.

Maybe this version of GTK for Win is not very good...

"This version" is not very explicit .. but I guess it's it's 0.11.4 with GTK2.12?

Clicking on systray to show / hide roster works for me.

Do you have errors in program files/Gajim/src/gajim.exe.log?

To be precisely explicit, I'm talking about exactly this version: * installation package: http://www.gajim.org/downloads/gajim-0.11.4+gtk-3.exe * Gajim 0.11.4 * GTK: 2.12.3 The previous version of Gajim with GTK version 2.10.11 works ok.

I have problems with: 1. performance 2. segfaults and sudden deaths of the application 3. minimizing/restoring any window by clicking on it in the TASKBAR (not the systray): if you click on task bar to focus/raise a window, it appears correctly. When clicking again, it should minimize but it minimizes and restores back immediately. Repeating this for a while caused segfaults many times.

The warnings in the log files are only warnings, and don't cause the segfault you see. And I can't reproduce those warnings :/

The taskbar indeed behaves strangly when you try to minimize by clicking on it. It's most probably a GTK bug. GTK-2.12.6 was released today. I'll try to see if upgrading to this version will help

I've built a new installer with GTK2.12.9. Could you test that and tell me if it's better (minimize seems to be fixed)
