Usage of notification messages/dialogs is not coherent.

I observed the following:

• When trying to connect with a zeroconf account but without avahi running a dbus notification is shown in the right corner of the desktop.
• When GPG is not available a dialog is shown and we have to confirm by clicking.
• No notification is shown when we use the 'Block' feature. One might not know what the consequences are.
• No notification is shown when we send a 'Custom Status'. It may not be clear that this is only temporary and lost whenever someone is changing his status. (Or when the other side is reconnecting)

Proposal:

• Zeroconf: Keep it as it is.
• GPG: Show dbus notification.
• Block: Show a dialog like we show when creating metacontacts
• Custom Status: See above

I agree for everything but GPG: I think it's important to know that GPG isn't used, it's why a dialog is shown. Don't you think?

Yes it is important to know but it is annoying to confirm the dialog. When I enter a wrong passphrase or cancel the dialog I will not miss the notification.

when you press cancel, yes sure you know that you won't be connected with GPG, but when you enter your passphrase for the third time, you don't know. But you're right, a notification is enough: That's not so important cause GPG is usefull only when you chat, and you'll see that GPG is not available there.
