Browse the chatroom from the join dialog

Description

To join a chatroom, I need to : Right-click on my account > join group chat > join a group chat Then I need to know the room's name. It would be really great to add a button "Browse rooms" in this window. Or an other solution but currently it's not very ergonomic.

browse services, then choose chatrooms and click browse sounds enough, isn't it ?

No, that's not intuitive.

If I want to join a group chat, I click on join a group chat, not browse services...

An other argument :

For instance, I want to join a group chat, I click on join a group chat, and then I can't remember the room name... I must go back, browse services > chatrooms > browse... How many clicks ? Too much.

Yep but the room you want to join is maybe not on your server ... so browsing your server won't help

how can't you remember it? Once you've found it in disco, you click on join and the join window is automatically filled

Yes maybe this window should be completely redrawn... :) But a simple button "Browse the rooms of this server" should be very useful for people who use a room on the same server. And not a problem for other folk.

Example : A friend called me and wanted me to join the geeks room. Now I'm going to join this room but impossible to remember if he said geek or geeks... So 2 solutions : trying both. Or browse services > chatrooms > browse... If only I could simply click on "Browse the rooms from this server" :D.

There is a lot of examples !

To sum up, there is 2 probs : - Browsing rooms is not enough accessible : To much clicks, Not very intuitive (why browsing services and not directly joining group chat if my aim is to join a group chat...) - I think that's important to be able to simply browse the rooms from the join group chat dialog.

I re-read your request, you'd like a button in the join groupchat window ... Ok I didn't thought it was there. But "Browse my server's rooms" is too long for a button ...

A new dialog ?

I would put the browse rom button in front of the servers combobox, and make the entry of this combobox editable.

nickname would be better bellow the room entry to not separate recent rooms and server

The problem with separating server and room is that copy / paste doesn't work. What could be done would be to catch the past event and fill server and room fields.
