Start with tray icon only.

In rhythmbox, if you click the tray icon to send it to the tray and then close it, the next time you open it, it will start in the tray.

Gajim should act the same way. I do not want it in my face every time I log in but I do want it to start up in the background.

At the very least, there should be a pref option of "start in tray only" or a command line switch "gajim --tray-only" or similar.

Although mimicking the way that rhythmbox does it would be ideal, since gajim is a gnome application and consistency is a good thing, I would settle with either of these solutions.

you can already do that with the Advanced Configuration option "show_roster_on_startup"

I am reopening this ticket, because it does not seem to fix the problem.

I think this feature is not working as designed.
Option "show_roster_on_startup" can be edited manually in ACE and this setting is working correctly.
But it is not changed while closing Gajim, so it means that changeset 7973 is not working.

Steps to reproduce:

1. set "show_roster_on_startup" to "false"
2. show roster
3. restart Gajim: Gajim is in tray only and no roster is visible - but roster should be visible, because it should be set to "true" while closing
4. check "show_roster_on_startup" value - it's still set to "false"

I bet you're using version 0.11.1, and this patch is not in 0.11.1 but in svn only. So milestone is wrong, sorry about that. I correct that
