it's because systray is not enabled. we should be able to use this func without systray.

jim found that the option that does that is trayicon_notification_on_events. set it to True as a workarround.

the pb is that currently only systray keeps events in the order they arrived, and only if this option is True (event if systray is not enabled)

The solution to fix that is to wait the refactorisation of the way events are handled in gajim so that they keep time of event.
