fetch vcards on invisible logon

Description

I don't know if gajim actually does this, but just in case: it shouldn't. Because if you log on as invisible, you generally don't want people to know you logged on. the same goes for being invisible altogether actually. If you fetch a vcard or connect any server but your own no matter for what, that server will know you are online. If I own my own server and have it tell me who connects to it and what for I can easily see that this person is online. Even if his nick is not shown; I have some contacts in my roster who are the only ones that I know of that use a certain server. If that server connects to me while they look offline, they are most probably invisible. Right?

I don't know much about s2s connections, but if your contact connect in

invisible, I suppose his server MUST contact yours to know if you are online or not.

then maybe it should offer the option not to do that ? for extremely

paranoid usage? it is only a matter of simple tweaking to have your server report all the incoming connections and tell the client about it, I think, so if you call it "invisible" you should at least offer the option to really make it that....?

ad what to do when we right click a contact -> information ? we ask vcard

or not ? we ask client / os info or not ?

IMHO if we opened the info window we know what we did.

But the biggest pb is when we are invisible and someone asks us jabber:iq:version or jabber:iq:last, we answer ! so it's easy to know who is invisible if heuses Gajim :) We for sure should not answer to there requests when we are invisible

after a discussion in gajim@… we (asterix and I) agreed

that one thing is sure: we should NOT ask for os/client info when opening the info window as invisible.

we don't ask anymore for os info. For jabber:iq:version and

jabber:iq:last, nor replying is not enough (if we were really offline, server would have sent an error message) so see #2257
