"General" group freezes up when empty

I begin with a roster without a single user in the "General" group. it doesn't exist. Then, I turn ON "show offline contacts". Then, I add a contact. The "General" group is created and the contact is put in there. I then dragNdrop the contact to another group. The "General" group freezes up; I can't expand or collapse it (the arrow keeps pointing down) and it doesn't dissappear like other groups do when you do this. I can though, put that contact BACK in the "General" group, and the RE:move it to another group, and THEN the group disappears neatly.
