Reorder groups by drag n drop

We should be able to choose in which order the groups appear in the roster.

why? I like alphnum it's easy to undersatnd and you can always collapse a group or two if you don't want to scroll down and we save the collapsed groups

and just because we can it's not good for a UI as it becames bloated or by accident you reorder or whatever happens to most users with drag and drop when everything is dragable (f.e. toolbars in Office)

I am using Gajim now for a while, and I REALLY miss this feature. It is the only thing which is really annoying when using gajim. Please implement this :)

This feature request is totally out of scope for now. You can never know how your groups have been modified with another client/instance. We don't even store the roster offline.

Maybe it can be added when 'roster versioning' is stable and we can cache roster locally. But for sure it won't be in 0.12.

I said how to do this; rename them with a number at first :

1.Friends
2.Familly
3.Clients

It takes one minute to do, maybe...

Numbering groups is only useful if I want the same order everywhere - but I'd appreciate if I could reorder the groups locally. For example when I'm at work, I'd like to have my "colleagues" group at the top, but not when I'm at home. Even a closed group takes up place and makes the list more cluttered than necessary. It doesn't have to be drag&drop, as long as there is a way to do it.
