"Sort contacts by status" doesn't work

Description
The "Sort contacts by status" doesn't seem to work well. Whereas the online buddies are placed higher in the roster, there are still offline contacts in the middle in a random fashion. This only happens when the accounts are merged. It seems that say for two accounts A and B, and 4 buddies aa, ac in account A and ab, ae in acocunt B, if only aa and ae are online, the order will be aa, ac, ae, ab. That is every user in the first account who is alphabetically _before_ the online user in the second account will be placed above it even if offline (not sure whether this is exactly what happens. but it seems to behave this way)
